Children of the Most High

That the sons of God saw the daughters of man that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh...

Ye are the children of the LORD your God...

JOB 38:4-7
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth...
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for Joy?

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most high.

HOSEA 1:10
...Ye are the sons of the living God.

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?...

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

LUKE 20:36
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

JOHN 10:34, 35
34. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35. If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

JOHN 20:17
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

ACTS 17:28, 29
28. For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

ROMANS 8:16-19, 21
16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18. For I recon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

For whom he did foreknow, he did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

1. Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4. But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the spirit of his son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

One God and Father of all...

HEBREWS 11:13-16
13. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

1 JOHN 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8. And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
